Since 2010 the Journal has been included in the list of the leading peer-reviewed academic journals and periodicals recommended by the <a href=\"http:\/\/vak.ed.gov.ru\/87\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Higher Attestation Committee<\/a> of the Russian Federation for publication of the key results of dissertations for obtaining a scientific degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences or Doctor of Historical Sciences. Recommended size of the article: 30000 \u2014 40000 characters (up to 1 author\u2019s sheet), in very rare circumstances up to 45000 characters. Size of a conference paper is up to 20000 characters (0,5 author\u2019s sheet), reviews must be 10000 \u2014 15000 characters. Submissions are presented electronically, typed in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman font, 14 point size, 1.5 spaced.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>2. The submissions are sent electronically to the addresses indicated by the Journal (see: http:\/\/ivanovo.ac.ru\/about_the_university\/science\/magazines\/intelligentsia\/), also they can be sent to the following addresses: int_i_mir@mail.ru, vlchernoperov@rambler.ru, <a href=\"mailto:orvozi@rambler.ru\">orvozi@rambler.ru<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>3. The submissions should include <em>two files<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3.1. File 1<\/em><\/strong> \u2014 the article, conference paper or review. The order should be as follows:<\/p>\n<p>For the article, conference proceedings, conference papers, reviews \u2014 in upper right corner BBK (LBC \u2014 &nbsp;Library Bibliographic Classification) index is indicated,<\/p>\n<p>in the next line, center alignment \u2014 <strong>in bold<\/strong> initials and surname (s) of the author (s) in Russian,<\/p>\n<p>in the next line, center alignment \u2014 <strong>IN CAPITAL LETTERS in<\/strong> <strong>bold<\/strong> the title of the article.<\/p>\n<p>The article must have the following structure:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduction<\/strong> with indicated sections<em>: topicality, rationale for the research, methods and approach <\/em>(brief historiographic review is appreciated)<em>;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Body of the article: <\/strong>(division into sections is appreciated);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusions<\/strong>, where the results of the research are drawn.<\/p>\n<p>Conference proceedings, conference papers, reviews have no definite internal structure.<\/p>\n<p>Footnotes: automatic, continuous numbering, pagination, the names of the authors are <em>in italics<\/em>, 11 point size, one line spacing.<\/p>\n<p>Bibliographic description of the sources is arranged according to GOST 7.1\u20142003, 7.0.5\u20142008.<\/p>\n<p>For the footnotes, a brief description of the sources should be submitted: author (s), title, place and year of publication, range of pages referring to the citation.<\/p>\n<p>For electronic sources, the date of access should be indicated.<\/p>\n<p><em>Additional recommendations<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 automatic hyphenation;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 for citation \u00ab\u00bb quotation marks are used, inside the quotes \u2014 &nbsp;\u201c \u201d marks;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 it is necessary to distinguish between a dash \u00ab\u2014\u00bb (ctrl + alt + minus sign in the right corner of the keyboard) and a hyphen \u00ab-\u00bb;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 for dates, page numbers etc. a dash is used. For example: 1920\u20141930, Pp. 258\u2014259.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3.2. File 2 must contain:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>3.2.1<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em><u> In Russian<\/u><\/em>:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 information about the author (s) (surname, name, patronymic, degree, academic title, place of work, position, contact details: telephone number, email address);<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;\u2014 title of the article;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 abstract must be at least 200 words and must contain rationale for the problem, a brief description of the goals, objectives, research methods, basic conclusions;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 key words (10 minimum);<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Bibliographic list.<\/p>\n<p>Bibliographic description is arranged according to GOST 7.1\u20142003, 7.0.5\u20142008. Bibliographic list includes only the cited literature alphabetically arranged. First, books in Russian are indicated, then in foreign languages. For books in translation, it is necessary to indicate the name of the translator. For books, it is necessary to indicate the publisher, total number of pages. For articles, the range of pages is indicated. Such elements as [text] or surnames of the authors through slash, dash between the elements of the description, ISBN, should not be included. Materials of the archives and newspapers are not included in the bibliographic list.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3.2.2. <\/em><\/strong><em><u>In English<\/u><\/em><em>:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 information about the author (s) (surname, name, patronymic, degree, academic title, place of work and position, contact details: (telephone, email);<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;\u2014 title of the article;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 abstract must be at least 200 words and must contain rationale for the problem, a brief description of the goals, objectives, research methods, basic conclusions;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 key words (10 minimum);&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.2.3<\/strong> <em>I<u>n transliteration<\/u><\/em>:<\/p>\n<p>the Bibliographic list \u2014 \u201cReferences\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>To compile the \u201cReferences\u201d it is necessary to transliterate the works that are not in the Latin script. When making transliteration it is necessary to rely on the US Library of Congress transliteration system. See: <a href=\"https:\/\/translit.ru\/ru\/lc\/\">https:\/\/translit.ru\/ru\/lc\/<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.convertcyrillic.com\/Convert.aspx\">www.convertcyrillic.com\/Convert.aspx<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For the Russian language sources (and sources in alphabets other than Latin), in the \u201cReferences\u201d section transliteration of the surname, name, patronymic, title of the work, journal or collection of articles, (in books the publisher is also transliterated) in the Library of Congress system is introduced first, then [in square brackets] \u2014 translation of the title of the work, title of the journal or collection of articles into English.<\/p>\n<p>Titles of the works published in Latin script are introduced both in the Bibliographic list and in the \u201cReferences\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In the \u201cReferences\u201d the order of the list is determined by the Latin alphabet.<\/p>\n<p>For the examples of \u201cFootnotes\u201d, \u201cBibliographic list\u201d and \u201cReferences\u201d see the site of the Journal.<\/p>\n<p>4. The Journal \u00abIntelligentsia and the World\u00bb does not publish texts:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 containing the material published earlier;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 with originality less than 75% as revealed by antiplagiarism programs;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 that do not meet the requirements;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 that are separate stages of incomplete research;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 authors of which refuse from editing the work;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 by the authors who refuse to take into consideration constructive criticism of the reviewers or provide argument supporting the author\u2019s point of view.<\/p>\n<p>5.
